Countdown To Reach

European companies that fall under REACH guidelines for chemical registration this year are reminded that attention to detail is vital to successful compliance. The countdown to the next REACH deadline of 31 May is underway. The May deadline is for companies that manufacture or import into the EU "phase-in" substances in quantities above 100/tpa to register their chemicals with the EU Chemicals Agency (ECHA). For substances not otherwise exempted and placed on the EU market in smaller quantities (1-100/tpa), manufactures and/or importers have until 31 May 2018 to comply with registration duties.
