Corrosion: A Thing Of The Past?

Extremely high temperatures, the presence of oxygen in the environment and increasingly long furnace operating times all take their toll on the melting electrodes used in solar glass production. Thanks to a new molybdenum alloy, these products can now achieve a long service life, even in aggressive glass melts.
