Corrosion Of Refractory Materials In Iron-Containing Melts

The corrosion resistance of various refractory materials in an iron-containing glass melt is investigated. It is established that an increase in the melt temperature and iron concentration insubstantially affects the corrosion rate in KhAts-30 refractory but noticeably influences the rate of destruction of BK-33 refractory.
