Rockware Glass has again been recognised at the Coors "Supplier of the Year Awards" by being presented the "Value Creation Award" for 2003. This builds on the Supplier of the Year award received in 2001. The award was made in recognition of the role Rockware played in the transition of filling operations from Coors Cape Hill site in Birmingham to its Burton-on-Trent brewery in 2003. Rockware was one of the key players in developing the inbound logistical operation and implementing the smooth running of two new high speed bottling lines installed at the Burton-on-Trent brewery. To successfully complete the project, Rockware representatives were major contributors on the Coors project team. Logistical support from Rockware and its partner Christian Salvesen was complemented by Rockware's highly experienced customer services managers.
