Contractors Put Together Petition Against Glass Price Hikes

Contractors & sub-contractors are gathering together a petition against glass manufacturers they believe are trying to raise glass prices by 50%. The group of contractors collecting together the petition believe the dominant glass manufacturers are engaged in trying to raise glass prices by up to 50%, with hardly any notice. The group claim that in order to keep costs & prices down it would be prudent to keep as many glass specifications open as possible in order to improve contractors & sub-contractors abilities to negotiate better rates. It says the level of increase in prices during a very difficult period for the industry can only have a negative impact on the UK & the small businesses that the UK depends on.
