Continued Development Of Float Glass Furnaces

In this article, TECO presents the improvements it has studied and implemented in float glass furnace design and production, particularly with respect to energy savings. TECO's expertise with the company's Superflue system has played a major part in this process, and the improvements in refractories and insulation techniques have allowed the level of regeneration to be maximised.
