Contemporary Glass Society Hosts Successful Symposium

From 4-6 September, 1998, more than 120 people convened at the new National Glass Centre in Sunderland. A mixed group, they had travelled from Holland, Denmark, Germany, the USA, Finland and all parts of Britain. They came to attend a second conference, symposium and workshops entitled "Glassworks", organised by the Contemporary Glass Society, successor to British Artists in Glass.
