Container Makers Cooperate In Gaseous Emissions Research

Portugal's glass technology institute CTCV has been measuring the atmospheric outputs of container plants. A revision of the best available techniques in the glass manufacturing industry is being prepared. The article provides a resume of principal gaseous emissions of the Portuguese container glass sector and looks at various abatement technologies currently in use, considering the impact of IPPC legislation in more detail.
