Container Glass - Environmental Impact In Eu Glass Industries - Economical Analysis Of The Application Effect Of The Ippc/Bat Eec Directive (In Italian)

After describing the cycle of container glass production, a statistical analysis of the emissions of 207 furnaces, installed both in Italy and in Europe, is reported for the last months of 1997. Values and trends concerning total dust, nitrogen oxide and sulphur dioxide are underline taking into consideration the different kings of fuels (gas and oil). Finally, the investment levels and the running costs for the plant engineering solutions aimed at reducing their environmental impact, in compliance with the Directive, are considered.
