Computer Analyses Of Glass Forehearths

A computer model called FH1 has been written to perform analytical energy balances for forehearth combustion spaces without calculating heat transfer rates within the glass. It is based on the solution to a radiation heat-transfer problem with conduction, convection, and heat sources inside a refractory enclosure.
