Comprehensive Analysis Of Migrates From Food-Packaging Materials: A Challenge

The EU has legislation on food packaging materials covering plastic materials (Directive 90/128/EEC), but none on coatings in contact with foods. A regulation on coatings is urgently needed, but there are still discussions about its basic concept. This paper deals with the analytical aspects of a migrate-oriented legislation.
