Complete Supervision Of Grinding Quality On Flat Glass Sheets

For quality control of ground edges of flat glass sheets, a time consuming inspection process is necessary. In most cases, workers do inspect for chipping, fissures and depth of grind on the production line, however, the main disadvantages of this approach are high error rate and long duration. An image processing system has been developed which can be integrated in the production line. This paper explains the system.
