Colour Monitoring To Correlate Redox

In this article the authors demonstrate the usefulness of spectrophotometric analysis of the colourlessness and Fe(II) content of clear glasses for glass redox determination, suggesting or supporting furnace operations and defining acceptable tolerances of the residual tinge by an objective measurement.
