Colorimetric Measurements Performed On Crt Phosphors

Trichromatic coordinates of CRT phosphors used for the production of colour television screens and computer monitors is important when evaluating the colorimetric quality of the images. In this paper the authors point out the experimental conditions necessary to carry out a correct colour measurement. Also demonstrated are the calibration results obtained. Finally, the importance of the spectral background for the calculation of the colorimetric coordinates of CRT phosphors is discussed.
