Cognac Plant Celebrates Restart Of Extra-Flint Furnace

Verallia's Cognac plant recently celebrated the restart of one of the factory's three furnaces, which specialise in producing very high quality flint glass. This 12m/euros investment further strengthens the Verallia Group's territorial anchoring in Charente and its leadership in the dynamic Cognac market. Work on modernising the furnace lasted less than two months and mobilised some 50 business partners. The furnace and its four production lines were refurbished to increase the facility's extra-flint output and flexibility.
