[Cis] Hollow Glass Industry Shows Signs Of Stabilisation

This article provides an overview of the latests situation in Russia relating to glass containers. The wave of bankruptcies in Russia's hollow glass industry over the past two years gave a second breath to effective glass container manufacturers and weakened the oversupply crisis in the domestic market. Russian plants produced 9.355 BN glass containers in the first 9m of 2016, 5.9% more than the same period a year earlier. Data from the country's consulting agency, VVS shows this as the first increase in production performance since 2013.
