Developments within the Chinese fluorspar industry often have global repercussions, as the country is by far the largest single source of the mineral. Recent hears have seen much fluorspar production transfer from direct state control to the private sector, and the importance of quality control become more widely recognised. This article gives a snapshopt of the Chinese flurospar industry as it stands today.
