China'S Minerals Industry

After a period of nearly 30 years, the Middle Kingdom finally re-opened its doors to the world in 1978. Since then China has undergone radical change at breakneck speed leading to a fast growing economy which is already showing signs of overheating. China's booming economy has sparked sharp growth in domestic mineral consuming markets, while being ideally located and well-stocked to supply the expanding markets of east Asia and further afield.
