[China] Lucrative Float Glass Contracts Signed

US-based glass process engineering and contracting firm Henry F Teichmann, has announced the signing of several turnkey float glass project contracts with AVIC (Hainan) Special Glass Materials Co (CAG) of China. The projects include building a new 600/tpd oxy-fuel float glass and chemical vapour deposition (CVD) low-E glass line, in addition to restoring and upgrading two existing float lines to manufacture premium, ultra-clear float glass and transparent conductive oxide (TCO) glass. All projects at the plant, located in Hainan, China, are under license of PPG Industries and will incorporate the manufacturer's latest float glass technologies.
