[China] Fuyao Looks To Drive Zion Forward

China-based Fuyao recently took over the former PPG Industries plant situated near Mount Zion. At a recent inspection of their newly-acquired site, Cho Tak Wong spent time meeting with local officials as plans for remodeling the facility are decided. Fuyao finalised the acquisition from PPG during an August meeting in China. Financial terms were not disclosed. As a result, Fuyao is now moving ahead with plans to rebuild both production lines. One of the lines hasn't been used since 2009, plant manager John Gauthier said. It will be rebuilt and operational by mid-2015 producing automotive glass.
