[China] Food For Thought - Packaging Markets Continue Growth

Exceptionally rapid economic growth of China over the last 20 years, during which the official average annual growth rate is estimated to have been around 10% has produced rising of incomes of a vast section of its population resulting in an ever increasing need of packaged foods. Food packaging, which traditionally has been an important sub-segment for container glass has resulted in glass producers dedicating separate lines and in some cases an entire plant for it.
