Equipment with a system for preparing sulphuric acid solutions for polishing crystal glass with concentrated acids has been developed. The use of concentrated acids in the process halves the acid requirement and correspondingly reduces the consumption of lime for neutralising the acid effluents and the amounts of solid wastes for disposal.
