Characterisation Of Nickel Sulphide Stones In Glass

The small stones of nickel sulphide found at the fracture origins of broken plate glass have been the subject of a number of studies concerned with analysing and preventing failure of windows. Work has concentrated on determining the composition and origin of the particles and on analysing the stress fields of particles in tempered plate glass.
