Changes In Composition During Electron Microprobe Analysis Of K2O-Sr0-Si02 Glass

Characteristic x-ray intensities of this glass were not constant with time of electron bombardment . The observation is consistant with the model proposed by J.L Lineweaver (1963) to explain the effect of a high electron flux on the evolution of oxygen from glasses containing nonbridging oxygen.
