Change In Tariff Duties For Dinnerware Sets With Ceramic And Glass Items

The Bureau of Customs & Border Protection (BCBP) has recently announced that it will reclassify certain dinnerware sets, meaning that the import tariff charged may change. The dinnerware in question is imported from China in sets. Each set consists, among other things, of ceramic stoneware dinner plates, dessert plates, soup bowls and mugs. There are also other items including glassware consisting of 12oz highball glasses and 12oz on-the-rocks glasses.
