2015 will be known in history as a violent year, certainly in Europe, with a huge influx of refugees from Syria and Africa; Greece close to the precipice of bankruptcy; with scandals in industry when the world learned of VW's "diesel gate" and it looks as if the lessons from the 2008 financial crisis, which still affect many countries, has had very little effect. This article, a regular feature of IGS, takes a look at predicting what the glass industry might look like to years from now - called "Industry 4.0" - also known as the fourth Industrial Revolution.
