At the end of August, a major glass technology seminar took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil. At this event, Linde Gas introduced its patented Convective Glass Melting (CGM) technology to over 70 delegates from the glass manufacturing industry. This technology has been used in many installations to deliver better heat transfer, improved quality, increased pull and decreased NOx emissions compared to conventional side wall boost, as explained in this article.
