The Case For K-Feldspar

K-Feldspar is distinguished from other feldspars by its high potash content which gives it advantages in specialist ceramic and glass applications. With sources of the mineral far less common than other feldspars, it is also highly valued and highly priced. The K-feldspar market is, however, under increasing pressure as the gap in competition with substitute materials closes in.
