Carib Glass To Double Capacity

Carib Glass will commission a second furnace shortly to double the company's capacity from 35,000/tpa to 70,000/tpa. Potential entry into the Cuban market was one of the factors which influenced the decision to invest in the furnace. The Trinidad and Tobago-based company is the only container glass manufacturer in the Caribbean with major exports to the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Pureto Rico and the USA. It made the decision to invest US$ 180m in a new plant in 2015.
