Carbolite Furnaces

Carbolite offers two laboratory-scale furnaces that utilise microwave assisted technology (MAT) with maximum operating temperatures of 1200 & 1600 deg C. MAT furnace processing can provide improved material properties, even & faster sample heating, improved yield, & greater energy efficiency. The company also has a range of high-temperature laboratory furnaces designed for processing ceramics & other materials at temperatures to 1800 deg C. An extensive range of laboratory scale box furnaces feature maximum operating temperatures of 1100, 1200, & 1300 deg C utilising resistive wire heating elements;1400,1500 & 1600 deg C with silicon carbide heating elements, & 17 & 1800 deg C, incorporating molybdenum disilicide heating elements. Tube furnaces are also available over this temperature range. Bottom loading furnace designs are offered for operation to 1800C.
