[Canada] Recycling Impetus Urged In Quebec

A citizens' group in Quebec City recently invited the public to drop off their empty wine bottles at the National Assembly in exchange for a 25 cent rebate. The initiative was aimed at renewing momentum behind a consignment program for glass bottles in Quebec, and was timed to take place when hearings of the transport and environment committee examined the issue of glass recycling in a recent National Assembly meeting.
