Calculating Regenerator Thermal Performance

Increasingly reliable packing solutions in furnace regenerator chambers is an ongoing aim of the SEPR Group. Since the invention of cruciforms, the group has been striving to improve thermal regenerator efficiency. Following the design and construction of a test loop to characterize the thermal performance of various refractory solutions for packings, researchers at SEPR have developed a calculation code to forecast the thermal performance of packings in different operating conditions.
