[Bulgaria] Sisecam: Bulgarian Unit Sees Sales Up 20% In 2007

Trakia Glass Bulgaria, a unit of Turkish glassmaker Sisecam, said on 19 April 2007 that it expected its sales to grow by 20% to US$ 128.6M in 2007. The company expects to hold on to its current market share in Bulgaria, Trakia Glass Bulgaria said in a press release. Sisecam holds between 30-35% of the flat glass market in Bulgaria. The Turkish company has invested US$ 190M in its 2 plants in the country, which joined the EU in January 2007. It plans to open a third plant which will bring its total investments in Bulgaria up to US$ 220M
