[Buenos Aires] Law For More Secure Glazing Passed

With the aim of putting an end to the recurring problem of accidents caused by broken glass, the Buenos Aires city legislature passed a law on 6 December 2005 to regulate the installation of glazing in new buildings. The law, promoted by Mario Morando (Compromiso por el Cambio) and Carlos Ameijeiras (Partido de la Ciudad), will also cover the installation of glazing entrances and public enquiry points of private educational institutions operative in the city.
