Bs 6262-4: 2018 - Glazing For Buildings. Part 4: Code Of Practice For Safety Related To Human Impact

This part of BS 6262 replaces a 2005 version. It gives safety recommendations for the use of glass and plastics glazing sheet materials in locations likely to be subject to accidental human impact. This part of BS 6262 also gives recommendations for the type of glass or plastics glazing sheet materials to be used in sloping overhead glazing. The recommendations are intended to reduce impact-related injuries and in particular the risk of cutting and piercing injuries. Please note, these recommendations DO NOT apply to: a) Glazing for furniture and fittings (see BS EN 12521 and BS EN 14749); b) Glazing for commercial greenhouses (BS 5502-21); and, Glazing for domestic greenhouses.
