Rexam Glass won the Grand Prix prize at British Glass' Shine Awards 2004, for its 750ml white acid etched flint glass bottle for V&S Absolut Spirits' Absolut Level Vodka. The company, which enjoyed significant recognition at the Awards, drew praise for the bottle's "excellent design & first class production techniques" which the judges said created a "distinct & stylish super premium position" for the upmarket vodka. The bottle, which also topped the Wines & Spirits category, was designed by Pearlfisher. Pochet-Rexam Glass won top spot in Perfumes, Cosmetics & Pharmaceuticals section with a futuristically-shaped glass & plastic pack, designed by, & for, Alex McQueen's Eau de Parfum Natural Spray. The Pre-Mixed Spirits category, in which Rexam took second and third places, was won by Owens Brockway USA's vertically debossed container for V&S Absolut Cut vodka.
