A Brief Profile Of The Mexican Economy

The glass industry is, like the rest of the Mexican economy, still coming to terms with the financial crisis of 1994 which saw many businesses go bankrupt. Foreign confidence was badly hit but Mexoco appears to be on the road to recovery. The peso has been stabilised, inflation is being reduced, while GDP is predicted to grow consistently, if unspectacularly for the next few years. Exports of glass have been growing strongly although Mexican glass manufactures will be hoping that the economic recovery will stimulate local demand as well.
