Breakthrough In Microwave Drying (In German)

Microwave drying units have, in the last few years, sucessfully pushed their way into a number of industrial fields. This was made possible through the development of a continuous, infinitely adjustable output control instead of the normal on/off impulse control of the magnetron. The author at first explains the nature of microwaves, which were first used in radar systems. The nature of microwave heat generation is then described prior to a discussion of their use infunctioning drying units.
