After three years of research, Logopak has developed a print and apply bar code label which peels off without leaving a sticky residue, particularly useful for the sheet and container glass markets. The label was developed by Logopak in conjunction with its sister company in Germany. It uses a revolutionary material, codenamed "Lift" which is already used in Germany and France and hopefully soon in the UK. There was a growing need, within the UK glass industry, to keep track of every piece of glass, from furnace to end user and even in the recycling plant. Retailers can now seek redress from manufacturer or supplier with more ease and consumer complaints can be handled with greater efficiency.
