[Brazil] Guardian Inaugurates Float Glass Facility, Launches Coater

Guardian Industries has inaugurated its float glass facility in Tatui in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo. Company and government officials delivered speeches at the inauguration ceremony. The Tatui plant has an output of 800/tpd and employs 300 people. It is Guardian Industries second facility to serve the growing Brazilian market. The company's other site is based in Porto Real, Rio de Janeiro, and this site recently launched a state-of-the-art coating machine which converts standard glass into high-performance value-added glass.
