A complete rebranding campaign by Wychwood, undertaken after research showed consumers felt its bottles needed stronger visual branding, has seen the brewer launch a lighter weight 500ml glass bottle for its Hobgoblin, Fiddlers and Elbow and Circle Master Beers. Produced by United Glass, the bottle has an embossed outline of the Wychwood Brewery logo on its shoulder, replacing the Hobgoblin device, and a bigger label to help communicate the brand values. "We worked directly with UG and are delighted with the result," says Stuart Hawthorn, Brewing/Brands Director at Refresh, Wychwood's parent company.
