Bohemian Glass Through The Ages

The traditions of glass manufacturing in Bohemia go back at least 11 centuries. Archaeological research into artisan centres of the great Moravian empire, the first state formation of the Slavs in central Europe, has revealed foundations of glass furnaces dating back as far as the 9th century. This article discusses the changes and development of glass manufacturing and designing through the ages.
