Bohemian Glass Development Until 1945

It is difficult to characterize Bohemian glassmaking with just one word, since over the years, glassmaking in Bohemia has changed dramatically. While the development of glassmaking in Bohemia dates back to the late 12th century, newer influences from the 16th and 17th centuries Renaissance period and Napoleonic wars beginning in the 19th century changed the ways glassmasters worked, resulting in various styles and decorations in glassware.
