Blowing Cold For Glass Productivity

The use of liquid nitrogen to cool the final blow with properly engineered equipment is described, and the achievements in production output is discussed. A hypothesis of the effectiveness of cold blowing air is set out and the important role of the blowhead design is addressed with reference to production parameters.
