A Binding Material For Structural Products Made Of Foamed Glass.

Normal bonds's based on silicate and alumina cements are not very suitable for structural and insulating-blocks made of foamed glass, since the latter absorb water from the cements and so increase their setting-time and impairs the bond. A bond s described consisting of powdered window glass to which are added Fe2O3, CrO3, marshallite, powdered foamed glass, and asbestos-cement powder.
