Every manager would love to have an endless stream of funds available to buy shiny new equipment for his/her glass plant. Sadly, in the real world not everyone has that choice. For many, second-hand machinery is the most cost-effective, sometimes the only alternative. There are a number of pitfalls to avoid when purchasing used equipment, however.
