Beverage & Dutch Industry Continue To Fight Over Beverage Packaging (In Dutch)

The beverage industry has induce the Dutch ministry to agree to the introduction of a return system for packaging, in which no deposit but a return premium would be handled. This follows the industrial rejection of the new system on the grounds it was impracticable, economically unsound and prone to fraud. The introduction has now been deferred to 1 Jan/2004.
