Glass tools & consumables manufacturer & distributor Bohle UK has introduced a new automated system for high volume serial glass bonding. The basis of the new Bohle process is the Verifix bonding table, a piece of equipment that is designed to allow the fast, easy & efficient bonding of metal to glass, typically in furniture or glass door production. The system allows metal parts accurately to be positioned to flat glass, even allowing different components, e.g. 2 hinges & a lock, to be mounted in a single operation. A load capacity of up to 150kg, allows processing of virtually any shape, size & thickness of glass, facilitating applications such as larger kitchen, bathroom & furniture fittings. According to Bohle this further improves production standards for glass bonding.
