To complement the blowing process, the use of vacuum inside the mould has proved successful for glass container production. Pneumofore has supplied water-cooled vacuum pumps to the glass industry for over 50 years. In response to the need to cut operating costs, it has now developed a new series of vacuum pumps with air cooling.
