Beatson Clark has appointed former Northern Foods supply chain director Tony McLoughlin as its new managing director. Mr McLoughlin, who took over from Alan Jones last week, joins the Rotherham-based glass manufacturer from the First Milk Cheese Company and has also worked for a number of companies including Procter & Gamble and Cadbury Trebor Bassett. He said he would look to use his knowledge of the consumer goods market to help build the firm's reputation. "My initial focus is on service and quality, building on the excellent levels we attain at present and further developing them. "My understanding of the food business and its requirements will be greatly beneficial to this role and I certainly look forward to the challenges ahead," said McLoughlin.
